Today on Instagram I posted a photo where I said I would be doing a three months challenge. What is this about? Today in the morning as I was doing my hair, I noticed that my hair is fractured from here and there, and especially the front part of my hair is super short. This kind of situation is absolutely absurd for me because I have always had healthy and long hair. With the brush in my hand I was just staring at myself in the mirror and thinking "Something needs to be done about this." When I had blonde hair, I never had this problem, I dyed my hair about four times a year, and not even fully, sometimes only just the roots of my hair. Even though I absolutely love my dark hair, the colour just won't stay on my hair. Even if I had literally just dyed it with black hair dye, in the first wash, the black fades away, and I get a weird shade of brown instead of the black. If I were to keep this black hair, I would need a hairdresser to do my hair like weekly, and unfortunately I cannot afford that at the moment.
3 MONTHS CHALLENGE
So after this wakeup call in the morning of my hair I remembered that my friend had mentioned some "pills that help your hair grow" so I found out that the pills are the ones seen in the pictures above. I'm usually a bit skeptical about dietary supplements, but after seeing my friends hair I went to the store and bought these straight away. 60 tablets that last for 2 months costed a bit over 12 euros.

I do believe that dying my hair so often recently plays a big role in the damage that has happened to my hair. I went to the hairdresser once, and I got my absolute dream hair, but after that I have been dyeing my hair at home, because I just simply cannot go to the hairdresser every couple of weeks. So my goal now is to not dye my hair for 3 months and take care of them in every possible way with good conditioners, shampoos, masks and so on. This is a very big challenge for me, because right now my hair is dark. The roots are light brown, mid part is dark and the ends are brown, interesting, yes I know. Throughout these three months I will write about this little project of mine and you guys will get to follow and see how it goes. My main goal is to try and get my own natural hair colour back. Then I could do some highlights on my own hair, but not fully dye it. I want strong, healthy, and long hair. Yes I know this sounds kind of insane as I have been craving for dark hair and said how much I like them, and I still do. But I have to be realistic when it comes to the condition of my hair and my own health, as much as I love my current dark hair, if it takes half of my hair to keep it dark, I don't think it's worth it. and don't you guys think that the hair in the picture below is quite nice too?;)

I really hope that my "challenge" would be successful and after three months the condition of my hair would be improved. First of June I'm planning on going to the hairdresser, if my hair needs it- most obviously it will. I have no idea what this is gonna be like, or what colour hair I will have by summer, but my only hope is for my hair to become healthy again. No short, dry and poorly nourished hair, and most importantly no constant dyeing.
